Blustery Day

What a magnificent windy day! It's quite chilly for June by a New Englander's standards, but I'm enjoying the difference. I think it's pretty clear that the stars of this post are my spankin' new platform clogs, which I have been pining after for quite a few months now. I finally found exactly what I was looking for at River Island and needed only 3 days to let the thought of how lovely they'd look on my feet marinate before I rushed over to buy them. They are surprisingly easy to walk on, even if worn during a night out when alcohol is consumed (the ultimate test for heels). I'm looking forward to pairing them with some ankle socks and a dress when the time comes...for now, I'm very happy with simple straight leg jeans. So many possibilities to explore!

Cute!! Listen, I hope you won't mind that I used a picture of your nails from a few entries back for a post on nail-accents. Of course I gushed about how great it looks and linked to you, but let me know if you'd rather I didn't!
