If Only the Sun Were On My Side

Oh, dang it! So there I was putting together a cheery, fun ensemble for the beautiful sunny day outside my window, completely unaware that as soon as I set foot on the cobblestones a massive horde of clouds would flood the sky. Fail. On top of that, the light was decidedly inconsistent, which unfortunately comes across in the post. Well, at least the dress and boat hat do their best to make up for Scotland's dismal weather habits. The dress is my absolute favourite (a graduation present) and the boat hat (on sale for 10 quid at UO) is a courteous replacement for the headband Maria spilled beer all over (classy)(j.k. I love you). Paired with the gold ring-bracelet (totally 'Prince of Persia' inspired) I think I found the perfect look a bright and luminous day. If only the druid gods of Scotland agreed...

The colors just sing bright and cheery! I like how you mixed different eras/styles together-- Prince of Persia meets classic lady in a boater? How interesting!

I haven't been by your blog in an embarrassing amount of time, but I love how you have all these fun gifs now. Gifs ftw! :)
